Designer

We are looking to add a designer to our team at Sort. The successful candidate will have a portfolio which demonstrates creative and effective design work, attention to detail, conceptual thinking and strong presentation skills. An ability to communicate clearly within a design team and to clients is essential, along with a passion for good design, technical proficiency and the drive to do great work.

The ideal candidate will have:

• An understanding of the end-to-end design process; from concept to final delivery
• A strong understanding of typography, colour and layout
• An ability to solve problems and create compelling and effective designs across a wide range of media, clients and styles
• Experience and expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Suite CC
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work in teams
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in HTML/CSS is advantageous though not essential
